  1. Each season, there are 9 races, usually 3 weeks apart but this can vary depending on public holidays.
  2. The age categories used are Junior Male, Junior Female, Male, Female, Vet Male, and Vet Female.
  3. Points are awarded to the first 20 finishers in each age category. The first runner is awarded 20 points, the second 19 and so on.
  4. A runner can gain an additional 10 points if they better their previous Personal Best (PB) trunce time.
  5. The PB for Vets is set at the beginning of the season to be the average time of the last four races that the runner completed.
  6. The PB for all runners is updated after every race if their time for that race is better than the PB from previous races in the season, or the pre-season PB.
  7. Juniors must be at least 10 years old in January 1st of the race year in order to be able to compete (FRA Rules).
  8. All runners must clearly display their trunce number on the front of their shirt.
  9. Numbers must be written in black on a white background, and digits must be at least 5cm high.
